Valimail engineers get the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving on the core communications platform used by more than 3.8 billion people every day: Email. The engineering team are the builders of our amazing platform – exercising the craft of code in everything they create.

From positioning & messaging, to digital programs, events, communications, sales enablement, and overall market awareness – our marketing team is critical to bringing awareness to the impeccable Valimail technology and the importance of what we do. Our marketing team is comprised of specialists from various industries who lend their unique abilities to making sure Valimail’s brand is powerful.

Valimail’s customer success team owns the full lifecycle of a client’s journey with Valimail. From when a prospective client is considering our technology, to when they’re onboarding and turning on our products for the first time, to making sure client needs are continuously met – our customer success team ensures each one of our clients get the most from Valimail and continues to be delighted.

Sales/BD

Our sales and business development teams are focused on getting our technology out to prospective clients and partners. They are specialists with our solution and align your business needs with our products and solutions. Our sales and BD teams are passionate representatives of our technology and strive to get our anti-phishing solutions to as many people as possible.

Our people operations team owns the mission of ensuring our people are enabled to be their best, optimized with the right tools for success, and in an environment where they can flourish. The team comprises of recruiting, HR, IT, as well as facilities/office operations. He held analyst and executive positions at leading research companies such as The Boston Consulting Group and Forrester Research along with Silicon Valley startups such as ValiCert, Sygate, and SyncTV.

He has built products and teams at a number of large technology companies such as RSA Security and Perot Systems, as well as at small startups like Tout, Securant, and Swapt.

    Stephen has over 25 years of experience building and leading global high performing GTM organizations enabling them to exceed $100M in annual revenue. Being a key part of two IPO’s and two acquisitions, he brings to Valimail the critical experience to accelerate the company’s significant growth. He has been president of a publicly traded company and CEO of an early stage software company. He has worked closely with premier silicon valley VC’s in advising several of their early and mid-stage technology companies.

Throughout his career, David has helped to generate billions of dollars through acquisition and IPOs.

He’s also been an advisor within the VC community and advises startups on go-to-market best practices.

    John De Santis
    Chairman and CEO, HyTrust

    John De Santis is a company builder with experience in networking, network operations software, data center infrastructure software, identity management, and security. He has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, software development, and general management at venture-backed technology start-ups as well as public companies.

    Prior to HyTrust, he was VP, Cloud Services for VMware, Chairman & CEO of TriCipher (acquired by VMware), a venture partner and entrepreneur-in-residence at Trident Capital, and CEO of Sygate (acquired by Symantec).

    Brian Melton
    Partner, Tenaya Capital

    Brian focuses on enterprise investments, including infrastructure and application software. He enjoys helping teams navigate the challenges they face as they build their companies. Brian co-founded Tenaya Capital, and prior to that was a partner at Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. Brian holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. from Wake Forest University.

    Jason Pressman
    Managing Director, Shasta Ventures

    As a Managing Director at Shasta Ventures, Jason is an active investor in enterprise cloud computing and mobility, commerce, open source software, SaaS, security and social networks. Jason is Shasta’s lead investor in and currently serves on the Boards of Valimail, CloudPassage, Glint, Leanplum, Nextdoor, Smule, and Zuora, among others. He is also responsible for numerous past investments with successful exits.

    Prior to joining Shasta in 2005, Jason was VP, Strategy and Operations at Walmart.com, where he took the online retailer from zero to large scale revenue in five years.

    Thomas Krane
    Principal, Insight Partners

    Thomas is a Principal on the investment team at Insight and joined the firm in 2012. His focus areas include cybersecurity, DevOps, IT automation, cloud-enabling technologies and education technology. Thomas studied Astrophysics at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and earned his Masters degree in four years. He was recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Venture Capitalist in 2019.
