Solutions: Compliance
Get compliant with security regulations and best practices

Over 90 percent of security breaches start through emails and the majority of those are impersonation attacks. That’s why many standards bodies and governments have issued guidelines and mandates aimed at curtailing these threats.
Regulations including DHS Binding Operational Directive 18-01 (BOD 18-01) and others often require email authentication through DMARC at enforcement. The Federal Trade Commission, the Global Cyber Alliance, the Online Trust Alliance, FS-ISAC, H-ISAC, and other industry groups recommend it.
Automated email authentication is a giant leap towards compliance. Valimail gets you there — without violating any privacy standards.
As a rule, Valimail uses and stores the minimum amount of personal information possible. The Valimail Platform never stores the contents of emails sent to or from customer email systems. When storing personal information is unavoidable, Valimail stores and uses this information either as hashes or in an encrypted form, not as plaintext. All customer data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Valimail is SOC 2 Type 2 Compliant and a SOC 3 certificate is available for inspection. Valimail is also FedRAMP authorized and Privacy Shield certified.
