As we transition into 2026, the cybersecurity landscape looks vastly different than it did just a few years ago. We are seeing the rise of Agentic AI and autonomous attacks fundamentally rewriting the rules of digital trust.

In fact, recent data shows that AI-automated phishing emails are significantly more effective than traditional methods, achieving a remarkable 54% click-through rate compared to only 12% for non-AI, manually written attempts.*

This 4.5x increase in attack efficacy – coupled with the fact that AI automation can make phishing up to 50 times more profitable – reinforces a critical truth: the gap between simple encryption and true identity authentication is the primary vulnerability in the enterprise today.

The headline of our year is undoubtedly our acquisition by DigiCert, a leading global provider of digital trust.

This brings Valimail’s Zero Trust email authentication into DigiCert ONE, strengthening protection across websites, software, devices, DNS, and now, email. By leveraging DigiCert’s leadership in Verified Mark Certificates (VMC) with Valimail’s best-in-class DMARC automation, we are uniquely positioned to help organizations reduce domain abuse and display verified brand logos in inboxes.

Celebrating our 10th anniversary, Valimail continues to set the standard for email security. In 2025, we achieved a massive operational milestone: surpassing 100,000 customers globally.

Unique in our dual focus on outbound and inbound authentication, we are helping thousands of organizations secure their domains and protect their inboxes, giving them control over every direction of email flow.

Product innovation

Our product strategy for FY 2026 was defined by a commitment to tangible innovation. We introduced several industry-first tools and enhancements designed to turn email authentication into a competitive advantage:

  • BIMI Simulator: We launched a first-of-its-kind suite of tools allowing brands to visualize and optimize their email presence through Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI). The platform empowers users to see potential brand impressions and benchmark against competitors.
  • Amplify Enhancements: Significant updates were introduced to Valimail Amplify, including subdomain logo support, a new logo library, and dedicated marketer role access to streamline collaboration between security and marketing teams.
  • Microsoft Sentinel Integration: A new integration that connects Valimail’s rich authentication data directly into Microsoft Sentinel, empowering security teams with deeper insights and faster threat response.
  • Continuous Protection Reporting: Now available in the Enforce Enterprise platform, this feature provides automated, ongoing visibility and management for email authentication protocols (DMARC, SPF, DKIM).
  • Sender Requirements Failure Report: This new reporting capability helps organizations quickly identify issues impacting message delivery by providing detailed visibility into mail failures, ensuring legitimate email flow remains uninterrupted.
  • Valimail Labs: We introduced an innovation sandbox within the platform, allowing customers early access to pre-release functionality. This feedback loop allows Valimail to test, learn, and iterate on features rapidly.

Strategic partnerships

This year, we deepened our relationships with the world’s largest email ecosystems:

  • Amazon SES: now collaborating with Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to provide automated email authentication solutions to all Amazon SES customers. As Amazon SES processes over a trillion emails yearly – including those for Amazon’s retail Prime Day events – this partnership is critical in helping customers of all sizes prevent domain spoofing and comply with evolving mailbox provider requirements.
  • Microsoft: We earned the Certified Software Designation, maintaining a top-tier IP co-selling relationship. Additionally, we were selected to join the Microsoft Security Store and successfully launched a new integration, further demonstrating deep interoperability with the Microsoft ecosystem.

Finally, we are humbled by the recognition we received this year from the broader community:

  • G2 Market Leader: For the 14th consecutive quarter, Valimail claimed the #1 spot in the G2 DMARC Grid® for Winter 2026.
  • Globee® Awards: Winner in the 21st Annual 2025 Globee® Awards for Cybersecurity and Human Resources, taking home five awards for innovation in threat defense and commitment to solutions for customers and employees.
  • Stevie® Awards: Bronze winner for Achievement in Sales or Revenue Generation (2025 American Business Awards) and Bronze for Employer of the Year and Achievement in Coaching and Mentoring (Stevie Awards for Great Employers).
