Introducing Valimail Labs: A space for innovation

Explore Valimail Labs: a space for customers to test experimental features, share feedback, and shape the future of email authentication.
Valimail Labs announcement

We are proud to announce the launch of Valimail Labs, a dedicated space within the platform where customers can explore new, experimental features before fully integrating them into our platform.

Valimail Labs is designed as an innovation sandbox: a place to test, learn, and iterate quickly. Customers gain early access to pre-release functionality, while we benefit from your real-world feedback, helping us refine and improve these features and our platform over time. Not every experiment will make it to full release. Some may evolve into production features, and others may be retired after a time if they don’t provide lasting value or if our goal was to gather feedback to help us further future improvements.

Valimail Labs: First features

Here are the first features we’ve released under the Valimail Labs banner.

  • Sender Requirement Failures: Google recently expanded its DMARC aggregate reports with new diagnostic data (provided in the <reason> field). Valimail now parses and shares this information with users, making it easier to understand why certain messages fail Google’s sender authentication requirements. Customers can view the volume, types of failures, and the top associated reasons, making raw data actionable.
  • Suspicious Mail Map: Using global DMARC aggregate data, Valimail visualizes where suspicious mail originates. The Suspicious Mail Map lets customers compare their domain’s threat landscape against worldwide patterns, helping security teams understand and anticipate risk.
  • Domain Report Card (Monitor): This Monitor-specific feature allows users to generate a shareable PDF report summarizing their domain’s vulnerabilities, DMARC visibility, and overall readiness. Our goal? To help you build the internal business case for DMARC, translate technical data into executive-friendly insights.

Be sure to opt-in to Valimail Labs (here’s how) so that you’ll get immediate access as we add additional features over time. Labs is available at no extra cost to all customers, though certain features may be available only for certain tiers or products. Inside our platform, look for the new Labs flask icon. This is your signal that a feature is part of Valimail Labs.

Let’s experiment together

Innovation in email authentication doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Labs shortens the feedback loop, allowing Valimail to bring customers directly into the product development process. By experimenting together, Valimail and its customers shape the future of email security.

Be sure to share your feedback with us. We want to hear from you!
