Seth Blank has held multiple leadership roles running open-source software and standards development and innovation. In 2017, Seth joined Valimail to help Valimail expand DMARC as the global standard in email authentication, and a critical element in preventing phishing, spoofing, and other forms of email fraud. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Seth is committed to making the email ecosystem safer and more efficient for everyone.
In addition to serving as CTO, Seth is an active leader in the email and technology space. Seth is the Chair for the AuthIndicators Working Group, the developers of Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI), a Co-chair for the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) DMARC Working Group, and co-Chair of the Messaging Mobile Malware Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) Technical Committee.
As Chair of the AuthIndicators Working Group, Seth has overseen the standardization of BIMI and its deployment to more than 2 billion new mailboxes across Google, Apple, and other major mailbox providers worldwide.
