Surja leads global strategic alliances for Valimail. Her twenty plus years of cybersecurity experience spans technical and GTM roles in multi-billion-dollar IT conglomerates as well as hypergrowth security scaleups ($20-$50m+). She joins Valimail from Skybox Security, where she established the company’s technical alliances program, pioneered a new competency round alliance marketing, and improved the company’s position with Gartner. Previously in her career, as part of the team that established Cisco’s Internet of Things Business Unit, she incubated and scaled strategic alliances from $0 to $50m in revenue contribution.
Surja completed her MBA from Northwestern University and her MSEE from Purdue University. Surja is a committed STEM mentor for high school cohorts, and actively develops future cybersecurity leaders. Outside of work, she likes to spend time with her family traveling, playing badminton, walking their dog, and volunteering their time with an underprivileged community in rural India.
