What is BIMI?
Brand Identifiers for Message Identification (BIMI) puts your logo in the inbox directly next to your brand’s email messages, outshining generic avatars or grayed-out initials. BIMI works with many email clients and webmail providers, such as Gmail, Apple’s iCloud, Yahoo Mail, and others.
Not only does BIMI enhance brand presence, but it also requires strong domain authentication – meaning that your DMARC policy must be set to enforcement (quarantine or reject). This reduces the risk of phishing and spoofing while rewarding verified senders with better inbox placement and engagement rates. For Gmail users, having a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) with your BIMI logo additionally grants you the blue “Approved” checkmark, further reinforcing your legitimacy and security.

The BIMI Report provides a downloadable multi-page PDF report that includes:

- BIMI Audience Insights: Understand exactly how many brand impressions you’ll receive – based on actual email volume numbers, you’ll be able to see a mailbox provider breakdown, with accurate counts, showing you how often your logo will show in the inbox.
- BIMI Inspiration: Get inspired by examples depicting other companies, both in your industry and others, showing live, actual examples of BIMI logos in use today.
- BIMI Eligibility: Know which domains are configured to the right level of protection and ready to support a BIMI logo.
It’s easy to generate!
- Go to the BIMI Tab and select Simulator.
- Check your company name and email. Update them if needed.
- Upload your logo (svg, png, or jpg).
- Optional: Add another domain to see if they have BIMI implemented. It can even be a competitor.
- Select Simulate and see your emails with BIMI.
- Select “Download PDF” to get the report and share it with others!
