SPF, DKIM, DMARC & Microsoft: Your July Compliance Guide
[Recorded] July, 2025
Microsoft has joined the “top four” mailbox providers (aka “MAGY,” Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Yahoo) with updated authentication and email hygiene standards for email senders. If you send more than the bare minimum number of email messages per day, these changes affect you.
Microsoft enforcement started in May, 2025, and while initially warning of spam folder placement, they quickly moved to outright reject non-compliant email messages, meaning that the risk of rejection is real. Are your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records ready? Do your mailing practices meet Microsoft’s updated standards?
Join deliverability experts Al Iverson from Valimail and Jennifer Nespola Lantz from Kickbox as they walk through what senders need to do to stay compliant, not just with Microsoft, but across the entire MAGY email universe. You’ll learn:
- What Microsoft now requires, and how it compares to Gmail and Yahoo’s 2024 updates
- Practical guidance for your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration, and why alignment matters
- How to avoid hidden pitfalls like broken unsubscribe links, non-functional reply addresses, and excessive SPF lookups
- Why even authenticated senders still land in the junk folder (and what to do about it)
- Understanding complaint rates, permission and engagement
- What’s coming next and how to prepare
- Whether you’re already compliant or just getting started, this webinar will help you fine-tune your sending infrastructure and avoid deliverability disasters.
