Valimail Ranks No. 37 on Fast Company’s Fifth Annual List of the 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators

Valimail joins Adobe, Spotify, Nvidia, Morgan Stanley, and many others.

Fast Company today announced its fifth annual Best Workplaces for Innovators list, honoring organizations and businesses that demonstrate an inspiring commitment to encourage and develop innovation at all levels.

Valimail came in at No. 37 for its From Perks to Performance initiative that transformed the organization from startup to scaleup by putting people first.

Developed in collaboration with Accenture, the 2023 Best Workplaces for Innovators ranks 100 winners from a variety of industries, including entertainment, biotech, consumer packaged goods, marketing, education, healthcare, and many more. Fast Company editors and Accenture researchers collaborated together to score nearly 1,000 submissions, and a panel of eight distinguished judges reviewed and endorsed the top 100 companies. The 2023 awards feature workplaces from around the world.

“Sustainable innovation comes down to the genius of teams. Values-aligned collaboration is an overlooked lever for the kind of sustainable business performance that can weather any economy. We are grateful for the massively talented individuals at our company who drive our business success everyday. We are serious about taking care of the people who take such great care of our business.”

Elaine Mak, Chief People & Performance Officer at Valimail

Two years ago, Valimail made an intentional decision to elevate People on par with its two other strategic pillars, Technology and Revenue, to architect the company strategy and operations. This change matured the organization’s leadership structure, programs, and systems to create and cultivate a workplace that puts people first. Today, Valimail’s core values are integrated into its organization strategy, performance,  and compensation structure, and DEI is regarded as a business requirement, not an elective.

“Innovation is a global priority, and this year’s list has a decidedly international flavor. Five of the top 10 ranked companies, including No. 1 Canva, are not headquartered in the U.S.”

Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company
